Petite déception pour notre premier jour sur Moorea. Entre photos et réalité, nous avons été déçu par le cadre du Airbnb, sa faible luminosité. À cause de l’emplacement proche d’une rivière, nous avons été fortement impacté par la présence de nombreux moustiques, qui nous ont obligé à garder les portes et fenêtres fermées tout le séjour. Lit d’appoint inconfortable, mais bonne literie dans la chambre. Petit détail : le logement ne se verrouille pas à clé. Accueil agréable. Même si nous n’avons pas eu le petit déjeuner offert comme convenu, merci à l’hôte de nous avoir apporté quelques fruits. Mais que dire de tous ces pauvres chiens attachés 24h/24h face à la baie vitrée. Des yeux plein de tristesse. Quelle triste vie !

Arnaud’s and Veronika’s place is a true gem, an immersion in the Tahitian way of life. You may not get ocean views, but this is overcompensated by the magical and serene rainforest location of the property and the warm hospitality they provide. The apartment is very comfortable and equipped with anything you need, the bed (and the location of course) provided me with the best sleeps. I enjoyed the company of the cats, the chooks, and the many crabs that call the banks of the stream that flows alongside the house home. Located in the community of Ha'apiti, away from the crowds yet a short and scenic drive to all the places you’ll want to see – you will need transport though. Local grocery stores with a good selection are found nearby (try Magasin SalvaStore), as are multiple roulottes (food trucks). Other tips: ice cream at Les Sorbets De Moorea and a (sunset) swim at the nearby boat ramp. The daily tropical breakfast is a great way to start, their coffee the best found on the island!

acute little fare, lovely friendly hosts. it is a little in the shade so hand washed items doesn't tend to dry. Breakfast was a nice touch. the couch as a bed is not very comfortable, but the big bed is.
