This was our 2nd stay at this wonderful place! The hospitality is unsurpassed. They accommodate my challenging diet with fantastic alternatives. And even with less than stellar weather we enjoyed the Harriett Tubman museum and felt like the Blackwater Refuge was a National Geographic episode on birds. Love the Blue Ruin in Cambridge and Limoncello in St. Michael’s.

The Anchorage is a gorgeous place situation right along the water with a pool, great views, and a stunning renovated older-style home with unique features. We stayed here for Eagleman and it was a perfect location just a 7 min drive from the race with tons of delicious spots for grub. Michelle and Woody cooked us an incredible breakfast Saturday morning and were very accommodating and kind; we felt right at home! The place sleeps many families so it would be a really fun place to rent out for large groups as well.

Michelle and Woody are wonderful hosts. Their home and property are beautiful, with lots of personal touches. I would be happy to return for another stay.

We have been to our fair share of Bed & Breakfast places but this place is special and on the top of our list. The location is beautiful and extremely well maintained. Our room was immaculate. Michelle and Woody were very personable and accommodating, the perfect hosts. We are looking forward to our next visit with them.
