We enjoy our stay! Not a fan of the bugs but we were in the woods so not much could be done about that. We had an issue with he pullout sofa but the hosts were responsive and brought us a brand new blow up mattress right away!

Great for quick trips/weekend getaways. Fully stocked with items to make stay enjoyable. Our trip started later than we had hoped so we arrived after dark, so finding the cabin was a challenge. The only other issue was you have to be out before 10am. An hour or so more would be ideal and worth the amount paid. Sleep in, make breakfast!

Great place. Very spacious, well stocked with anything you could need and quiet at night. I couldn’t have expected any more.

Perhaps we did not read his posting well enough, but we did not realize that there was only one bathroom on the second floor where the bedrooms were. The furniture was so heavy that it took a lot to pull a chair out from the table. The closet in the "master bedroom" had a large tube TV that took up about 1/3 of the floor space. We thought we were dealing with an individual, a "super host," but we were really dealing with a corporation. When we sent a message asking whether there was anything special we were supposed to do before leaving, we never got an answer. There were almost no teaspoons. The location was great! Parking was very convenient! Surrounding area was very quiet.

We were in the area for a wedding, hiking and visiting family. The villa is huge - big living space and big bedrooms made our stay great. And being so close to Starved Rock, our favorite park in Illinois, was awesome. Thanks
