Things you should know:
This house is in the middle of the way between Progreso and Telchac, both towns are located 17 km approximately away from here. Both are part of the yucatecan of 82 km long coast also know as Costa Esmeralda, which goes from Progreso to Dzilam de Bravo. This house is located at the 7th km of Costa Esmeralda taking Progreso as the 0km.
As you might see in Maps, Progreso is the most important port in Yucatan, so you´ll find every kind of product and service you need.
Here is important information about Costa Esmeralda:
1 Progreso: His main attractive is the old building that used to hold the marine costums, which was built in the XIX century. Other attractions are the Municipality Hall, The Lighthouse, which was built in 1891 and has a height of 40 meters; the Chapel of San Antonio Yaxactún; and the Costums Dock, which is considered as the longest of the country with his 6km long.
In Progreso you can walk along the boardwalk, enjoy the breeze and savor the delicious regional food in the many restaurants that line the harbor's boardwalk. You can also visit the churches of San Antonio de Padua (sixteenth century), the Purísima Concepción and San Pedro (seventeenth century), as well as the Municipal Palace (nineteenth century).
2 Chicxulub
3 Uaymitun Uaymitún: ideal for water sports and relaxation. It has a three-level viewpoint to observe the beautiful flamingos and birds of the local fauna that inhabit the estuary.
4 Xcambó
5 Telchac Puerto Telchac Puerto: ideal for swimming and rest. The small boardwalk and the lighthouse give it a very peculiar flavor. Nearby is the Laguna Rosada, home of migratory birds.
6 San Crisanto: The main attraction of this port is undoubtedly to visit the mangroves and cool off in a freshwater eye. The port of San Crisanto in Yucatán is a small fishing village that has beautiful spaces such as beaches, spas and of course, its mangroves.

9 Dzilam de Bravo: In addition to the natural beauties and beautiful beaches perfect for water sports, you can visit the churches of San Antonio de Padua (16th century), the Purísima Concepción and San Pedro (17th century), as well as the Municipal Palace (19th century).

Supermarket recommendation: “Bodega Aurrera” is the green one located next to the gas station with the Oxxo.
Restaurant and food recommendations: El Capitan Flores, Maluco´s located inside Chicxulub. Almadía, Eladio´s, Flamingos, Crabster and Haguay,, La Antigua Progreso, Maasai Maya Bistro , Milk Bar & Kitchen, Leña & Mar, Elio Al Mare these are at Progreso´s Pier.
