Cabin @ Top of Hill ~ Cathedral ceilings, unique woodworking, granite countertops, and an open kitchen/living floor plan ~ truly an original place to spend your next adventure! Located in the heart of central Vermont, we are within an hour drive to Sugarbush, Mad River, and Bolton ski resorts, and only a 15-minute drive to snowshoeing, cross country skiing, and ice skating venues. Enjoy a walk to a local eatery, take a granite quarry tour, or simply enjoy a movie at home on the big screen TV! The 1000sf cabin sleeps two very comfortably, although it can accommodate up to 4. There is a queen size bed in the loft. A cot, air mattress, blankets, and pillows are located in the loft closet. The pullout sofa is on the main floor. The kitchen has a gas cooktop, electric oven, and pots and pans handy to make your favorite dishes! The large center island allows extra space for preparing meals, eating breakfast, or playing a game of cards with your loved one. The kitchen table is set for 2 but can accommodate up to 8 people. The newly finished bathroom has a full shower with double showerheads. The spacious living room has plenty of seating to enjoy a movie or sports game on the big screen television. The bedroom loft has an office area that includes a large desk for your convenience.

Robert was a great host and we plan to stay here whenever we can!
We really enjoyed our stay at Rob's "Cabin on the Hill." Rob was proactive with his communication. He reached out to see what time we would be arriving so he could make sure the 1 1/2 feet of fresh snow would be cleared away for us, and he texted me a few weeks before to let us know about an event happening during our stay. The cabin was super clean and appointed with everything we would need. We were even able to host and cook a meal for our adult kids one evening. Rob built the cabin during the pandemic and it was a joy to see his excellent workmanship. It was welcoming and homing and I can't recommend it highly enough.
Rob’s Cabin on the Hill This charming cabin is the perfect getaway. It has everything you need to be comfortable. It is located close to Montpelier, the State Capital, and an easy drive to many of the state’s attractions and popular ski resorts. Rob is the most helpful host, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Super friendly host who accommodated several special requests. Very comfortable, rustic cabin that was perfect for our needs. Little things like coffee filters and coffee were there when we arrived as well as a few spices and things you would normally not find in a short stay situation. Great place we will stay at again soon!
While we were the 3rd guests to ever stay here, it seemed like Rob had been doing this for quite some time. Rob is super helpful and accommodating, allowing my group to check in passed midnight and even making sure we got there okay. Everything was clean and set up for us to use with ease. The cabin itself is very cozy and spacious with modern appliances and good WiFi. My group stayed at this place for a ski trip but there are also lots of nice shops, cafes, and bakeries nearby. My group will definitely be trying to stay here again for our next VT ski trip!

Great residential neighborhood, there is a Veteran's Memorial Park adjacent to the north side of the property, down by the brook. You will see me and others working diligently in the gardens below. The plan is to reopen the historic Robinsons Garden in the next few years. After 5 decades of being dormant, it’s long overdue.
Things to do: walk across street to the PUB, leather store, up to schools for kids fun (weekend only), down to Pump for groceries and ice cream stand, or to Saldi Field for basketball, baseball, soccer, and dog park. Drive 10 mins to Floating Bridge, Rood Pond, Allis State Park, Playground 2000, Hannafords, or Laundry.
Designated guest parking is on the concrete slab, additional parking to the west. Williamstown has nice sidewalks leading all around town.
