We were welcomed by Krishna and his family and instantly felt at home. Krishna explained us all the possibilities in regards to jungle walks and other outdoor activities and we decided to go with him for a jungle walk that started early in the morning. His wife prepared us delicious meals for our journey and since Krishna had 22 years of experience as a guide you can count on some amazing stories and new cool insights about the wildlife in Nepal. Since we were traveling by car from Nepal to India, Krishna was very thoughtful and helpful with any questions or requests we’ve had in regards to border crossing and money exchanging for example. Dont be fooled by other resorts in the area that might look more fancy, Krishna’s place is the place to be! Dont hesitate to have some Chai or a beer with him and his family back at the resort and be sure to ask him about his adventures from back in the day, Nepalese culture and football od course. Thank you so much Krishna, we had 3 beautiful days!

It was an amazing place, Truly value for money.... Kishna the chief host was very polite and helpful.....staff was very decent..... everything is cooked fresh and rite infront of you....order takes time because they prepare fresh......Jungle safari was managed by Krishna..... gypsy driver tilak and guide Prakash was amazing... they tried there best and we could c the leapord....... overall good visit

Krishna and Baba are truly wonderful people. Super welcoming and knowledgeable about the park and it’s wildlife. The bed in the room is so so comfortable! We truly enjoyed our walk safari with Baba, who is a wildlife photographer and researcher (working on a book on Bardia’s mammals right now). Thank you guys! We would definitely recommend anyone to visit Wild Planet :-).

Wonderful and Adventurous stay in Bardia Wild Planet Jungle Retreat ! Wild planet Jungle Retreat is this kind of place where you definitely want to come back. We had such a wonderful stay there. We arrived late in the night and were welcomed so warmly by Krishna and Baba. The typical cottage rooms are charming and comfy. The staff team there is so friendly, helpful and can’t stop smiling, on top of that they also cook delicious food. The highlight of our stay was the walking safari in the jungle with Baba. He has the park in his pocket ;) and is so passionate about wildlife and the environment, its infectious! I can tell he was more excited than us when he saw the Rhino hahah ;) We enjoyed each moment in this beautiful jungle and with Baba. Bardia needs to be added to your bucket list!
