Lea was a great host and very responsive.
We loved staying at Lea’s place. The views are absolutely unbeatable and we saw the best sunset ever! Lea was so informative and even took some pictures of us when she found out we had just gotten married. We will absolutely stay at Lea’s place again!

We stayed 1 night in Pocumtuck for my birthday and it was magical! I want to preface with my only somewhat critical comment: the fees ARE very high for this, but when you see the value of what you’re getting it definitely is worth it. The view alone would cost as much anywhere, truthfully. Lea and her partner, Wayne, have revitalized an old staple and turned it into an amazing gathering place and community in itself. Lea is so warm and bubbly, and goes out of her way to make sure your needs are met. The unexpected highlight? Outdoor shower, and Lea’s Landing at sunset. Wayne is an amazing woodworker and it shows everywhere on the property. The multiple 5 star reviews on all outlets don’t lie. Also, definitely eat a whoopie pie or 3!
The cabin is in a beautiful location, though right on Rte 2. Lea is a great host, very friendly and responsive.

Wayne and I are both young retirees who love to build stuff. In 2018 we did the unthinkable and bought the Wigwam Western Summit site unseen while on vacation in Vermont. The Wigwam had been vacant since 2008 and was abandoned for nearly a decade. The Wigwam is such a special place and it brought Wayne back to the Berkshires to retire. We love hosting and meeting people and can provide recommendations to make your stay more enjoyable!
