If you want to have an incredible trip, I will keep it simple … you need to book Fred’s place. You can’t ask for a better location and hosts. Michaela and Fred went above and beyond to make my families trip unforgettable. This is an ocean view location and a few minutes walk to the St Lawrence Gap. We will definitely be back to visit here.
Had a great week here, it was a perfect spot right on Worthing Beach and not overly busy. Bars, restaurants, supermarkets and if needed a petrol station are all close by and if you want to go to the Friday Fish Fry in Oistins, then you can catch the bus or a van on the main road, it’s not that far! Unfortunately, Micaela was not there the week we stayed but still kept in contact and Fred did a great job making us feel welcome and being contactable with any queries we had. The house had pretty much everything you need if you want to do your own cooking as well
Micaela and Fred's accommodations were amazing and one of the best stays we've ever had. Fred greeted us from the beginning and was only a text away for all of our needs. He was such a great host and made the best rum punches! Being able to wake up everyday, walk out onto the beach, and swim with turtles was priceless. We would highly recommend staying here and would definitely return.
We are located right in the best spot on the South Coast . Few steps and you are right on the sands where you will find the well known Carib beach Bar where you can enjoy Bajan cuisine or just a cold drink in front of a stunning view of the Caribbean Sea and weekends you can admire locals playing cricket till dawn ! Minutes walking you have two supermarkets and a gas station , if you decide to go around the island by bus the stops are right on the main road ! 10 minutes walking you will arrive at Mojos a well renown American Caribbean Bar and restaurant on the lively South Coast . Miami Beach is few minutes by car so is Accra beach ! Basically our location will allow you to reach any place in a short period of time .
The sheltered south coast of Barbados is a visitors’ playground — but alongside crowded beaches and lively nightlife, you’ll find lots of history and touches of nature, too
The stretch of coast between Needham’s Point to the west and South Point to the southeast is Barbados at its liveliest, and the island’s tourism hotspot. Close to the airport, blessed with a succession of splendid beaches, and well-connected by public transport to Bridgetown, the south coast boasts dozens of hotels and resorts, interspersed with quiet residential streets (gaps, as Bajans call them), restaurants, and bars galore. Few buildings rise higher than the treetops, and neat gardens and flowering shrubs still outnumber neon signs. There are areas that seem to never sleep — see St Lawrence Gap on the facing page — and dozy corners designed for quiet retreat. The best way to take in the lie of the land — or, rather, the coast? A stroll along the boardwalk, which hugs the shore from Bridgetown, running south and east, with refreshing sea views and equally refreshing sea breezes.
There’s no point coming to Barbados and resisting the call of the sea — and the south coast boasts some of the island’s most accessible beaches. Accra may be the most popular, and it’s easy to see why — broad stretch of white sand, warm turquoise water, laid-back beach bar, and ample parking. Further east, Dover Beach is popular on weekends and located on the very doorstep of St Lawrence Gap. Head towards Oistins and you’ll stumble on Enterprise Beach, known to many locals as Miami Beach (above), quiet on weekdays and packed on weekend
The bus stop is right across the road !
The best way to go around the Island is of course a car rental particularly to visit the most remote areas as you cannot rely on public transportation. Ask us to organize for you the rental and the car can be dropped at our property at your arrival . We will issue as well the driving license for the island
