The property has SO much potential. Beautiful location. Fantastic size for a family of 8 adults. The difference between a fantastic stay and a less than experience is in the details. The details are absolutely missing, *ESPECIALLY SO* in the bathrooms and kitchen areas. What sent the experience over the edge was my kids finding evidence of mice in the kitchen the first morning (out of 7) of our stay. With a family of 8 staying for a Christmas holiday, we had lots of plans to use the kitchen. After no response from Leah, Leah's brother (who is nearby) did respond and came to set traps. He didn't seem terribly surprised ..."with being in the woods and the home being old"... Zero follow up beyond that. I've inquired about a partial refund, mention of such initiated by the brother in a text. Further follow up on that has yielded one delayed response asking for my input, then absolutely nothing. We've rented homes before and this is a first. I have pictures and messages available.
