Location location location . The place was clean. Hot water was superb! Friendly and fast response.

The instruction for checking in and checking out and almost everything was incorrect and he said that the instruction is hundred years old and he should update it but after staying there for one month even checking out instruction was incorrect. Stove had some stink on it and after one week or so water started falling from the hood which wasn’t working and it was because of sanitary pipes. Dirt and smell from upper floor’s sink in your stove with your plates and everything on it. Even he admitted that he has seen that stink on stove and had done nothing. One time he fixed the pipes and then without asking me brought an electrician to change the hood. And I couldn’t do anything. I have never experienced anything like this.

Dave’s place is conveniently located, easy to access and convenient to self check in. Small and cozy, close to lots of restaurants in downtown vancouver and a great place to crash for a couple of days. Just a note that if the lock sticks, to pull the lever towards you and it should unlock just fine.

Dave’s studio was overall a pleasant stay. We had a smooth check-in procedure as the instructions were clear and concise. Upon entering, it didn’t feel as big as it was pictured nor did it feel as clean (specifically the floors and counters). However, the pictures of the place were accurate and it was fairly clean overall (sheets, blankets, and towels felt very clean). The studio had all the amenities you need which includes tons of hardware and silverware for the kitchen and plenty of towels for the bathroom. The location of the studio is awesome. You are a few steps away from Robson Street where there are plenty of restaurants and a 10-30 min walk away from attractions and activities. You’re also relatively close to the Skytrain stations which makes travelling very convenient. Overall, I would highly recommend Dave’s studio!

Eine zentrale Lage und dennoch ruhig. Man ist in 10 Minuten fussläufig in der Downtown. Was uns gestört hat war die Tatsache, dass es keinen Kleiderschrank gab. Ebenso keinen Backofen, aber Mikro und Herd sind vorhanden. Die Kommunikation war immer hervorragend. Jederzeit würden wir dort wieder übernachten.
