Historic home. 2.5 miles to ND. 2 bedrooms with traditional beds, and 3rd "bedroom" used as a living room-it was originally a BR. Beds: 1 king, 1 full, 2 twin floor mattress in 3rd room used as a living room. 1 full bath and very tiny 4 x 4 bath. Some doors, trim, and stair nose to be redone. Please see pics! Outside will be ready to go by May! Space is meant for five or six, but six may be tight, especially given the two twin floor mattresses. Note there is 1.5 bathrooms, but the 1.5 bathroom is very tiny. If you have many members in your party that need a bathroom, this might not work. Main bathroom is on second floor. Upstairs does not get refrigerator-cool if temps are in the upper 80s. We have a brand new AC, and fans, but this is an older house. In keeping with the spirit of the platform, this is not a strictly rental property. We live here during the week, but you will be completely alone during your stay. Absolutely no parties. There are ring cameras on entrances. They are only outside, and we don’t view these, unless necessary. No loud congregating outside, especially after 10. We are in the process of renewing our 90 year old home, while keeping true to its period. Expect to see the charm and marks of a vintage home—alongside arched entrances to rooms and a fully re-gutted kitchen are squeaky wooden floors, antique doors, wear and tear on some doors, trim and base, older paint on doors (no lead at all), and some scratches on older mirrors and doors. Bedrooms: Two bedrooms: one contains a king (Serta comfort series hybrid,--2019, + cooling and pillow top: this mattress is manufactured to sleep on the softer side), the other contains a full (memory foam). We made the largest bedroom into a living room and it contains two non-descript twin mattresses on floor. I have put a pad on one, but, really, they are more for kids or someone who doesn’t mind. One is a memory foam, but it’s still not super comfortable. Room is cramped when they are placed out, but they can be placed downstairs in another living room. !We have hard water with a new water softener! Hard water can create trace films in toilets, and condensation in dishwasher may be pungent, if opened after a few days. Smoking of ANY kind must take place outside in enclosed yard. Smoking in house is detected by smart smoke detectors. Some doors, trim, casing, and stair nose need to be redone. There is a raw material/labor shortage here, and lead times are immense, but we are on the list. We do have Alexa devices that work as clocks. You are more than welcome to unplug them or ask me to remove them before your visit. Airbnb has recently implemented policy wherein service dogs, with documentation can accompany owners, so I cannot guarantee there have not been animals in the house, but we do clean thoroughly and have no problems in cleanliness reviews. I have hosted six guests, but it may be tight, with the one bathroom and a very tiny second powder room. This probably isn’t the best place if you will be doing a lot of preparation and grooming for a wedding, etc. The bathrooms are certainly not spacious, at all.
