Easy check-in with instructions. Apt and sheets dirty on arrival. Cleaning lady came next day, but not improved greatly. No windows in apartment. Coin laundry in other part of building not advertised as such in the ad. Eric was responsive to cleansiness problem, but it took a bit. Wish W/D was announced as coin laundry in a really awkward and dirty part of building as that would have been a deal breaker for me despite ideal location near hospital since I had to stay there 1 month. No paper towels and cleaning supplies in the apt. No condiments. Neighbor has a huge very furry dog that leaves hair balls all over the hall. These enter the apt so hard to keep clean. Lots of construction in the only emergency exit of the apartment started at 7 am on weekends... Overall very disappointing stay. Only positive was the location and ease of check in.

Good value apartment in the heart of downtown I stayed at 2 of Erics apartments in downtown/Chinatown area for a total of 3 months. NEIGHBORHOOD: -Area is centrally located, 5 minute walk from Terminal Market -Neighborhood is rough around the edges, but not 'unsafe'. Lots of foot traffic day and night -20-30 minute walk from Museums and touristy stuff. Enjoyable on pleasant days APARTMENT: -This particular apartment is dead quiet, but no outside windows that connect to street -Apartment is spacious with 2 br, 2 bath, 2 tubs -Appearance is very "spartan like". No decorations, white walls, basic furniture, etc. -Bed/furniture is ok, but not super comfy -No TV -Wi-fi works great HOST: -Always responsive and would get back to me quick Overall the amount of space I got with both of Erics apartments made the price a steal. If you are ok with something a bit "plain looking" but spacious with a central downtown location, Erics apartments are a good value.

Eric’s place was great! At first we couldn’t get in but he responded quickly and everything was resolved. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Philly. Easily accessible location and in a very walkable area; lots of restaurants and is only 10 min walk to notable landmarks. Absolutely would stay here again!

Great location Walking distance from Reading Terminal Market and the convention center. we LOVED Paris Baguette next door too. great apartment, clean, comfy. couldn't ask for more

Myself and my roommate did a long-term stay here and overall it worked out well for us. This is a great location if you want to be near the restaurants in Chinatown and Reading Terminal Market. What really stood out was Eric’s hospitality, quick response time, and willingness to answer questions and help immediately with anything that was needed. He is the best host I’ve worked with! On the other hand, some things could have been improved. As others have stated in their reviews, there is a cigarette smell that occasionally comes through the vents from other apartments, and some areas needed to be cleaned when we arrived. Additionally, if you plan on using the communal washer/dryers downstairs, the washing machines did not always work consistently. Despite these issues, this was a good Airbnb overall!
