I stayed at this house several times before. I was a nice experience again. The house is charming and the rooms are comfortable.

Joe and Joann were great hosts. Communication was prompt and both were friendly and enjoyable without being overbearing. Very laid back and easy to work with. The house was peaceful during my stay, with the only issue being the regular train passing through town about two blocks away. The house is a work in progress after having sat vacant for several decades. I would consider it more eclectic than historic, though there are those aspects. Neighbors were all friendly and waving while I was on the front porch. Substantial commercial grade kitchen open to being used by guests. AC in individual rooms, but not throughout the house. That said, the house was pretty comfortable in spite of the temps outside. For a lone motorcycle rider that was just getting some peace away from work, it was wonderful. I am fairly confident that my wife would not have felt the same. No regrets on the stay. I think it would continue to improve as they progress on renovating the house.
