We drove up to this gorgeous cabin for the April 8th solar eclipse and it was the perfect getaway for us. It had snowed a couple days before hand so we arrived to a beautiful winter wonderland overlooking Moosehead Lake. The place itself is so warm and cozy, large windows allowed us to appreciate the gorgeous view even when inside, and David left us some wood so we could enjoy the fireplace. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were very comfy, and the place was very clean. Highly recommended and we would love to come back!! We did pay more than we’re hoping to spend but understand the higher rates for the eclipse. Things to note: The bedrooms aren’t as described, something we wish we knew ahead of time because we had a baby with us and were relying on having 3 bedrooms instead of two. Bedroom# 1 and Bedroom# 3 in the photos are the same bedroom. They did have an extra bunk bed in the basement, but it was too cold for sleeping and thermostat was locked.

Great space for a an ice fishing weekend with friends. Awesome location and plenty of space.

We were a group of 8 to enjoy snowmobiling. This location worked perfect for us. Our favorite place to relax while not riding was the room downstairs with pool table, Fireplace, TV, and plenty of seating. Thank you David! Will be back again.

Excellent place to stay. Lots of bed options and big living room to entertain. Hard spot to put a machine on the ice but very close to town where you can easily put on and get to
