I am so grateful for my time at the Shalom retreat. I hope to return one day to this very special place. The home was so cozy and really felt like a loved home. The decor was so fun and we had everything we needed and more. The kitchen was lovely, the beds were comfortable and the living room was so cozy at night time. It was so peaceful to wake up, make some coffee and sit out on the deck to drink it and listen to and watch the birds. The path behind the house leading up the hill led us to a beautiful view. We weren’t far from some fantastic vintage stores, art stores and coffee shops. Only an hour or so away from Senaca Rocks which was a brilliant hike! Jeanette and Rick were responsive and offered all the information we needed and more. Very friendly people. Such a lovely home.

I would highly recommended Jeanette and Rick’s place! A gorgeous location and a lovely place itself, I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Just be mindful of their recommendations regarding what type of vehicle you have; the gravel drive up to the house is quite steep, so a typical sedan might not make the cut.

It was the perfect mountain getaway we were looking for on Christmas. The cabin was all decorated, the mountain views were amazing, and the property very secluded with a forest and trails. Jeanette & Rick were wonderful hosts, would recommend!

The cabin was a wonderful retreat. There are so many small touches, albeit art, spiritual pieces, family pictures...the cabin is wonderful and it has a very comfy and peaceful vibe. Everything was absolutely perfect
