I will start by saying that the house is sparkling clean, very well decorated, and has lots of thoughtful touches. It was a super easy 15 minute drive from Round Top as well! Check-in was easy and communication was great. As everyone mentioned, the linens are amazing and the beds are super comfortable. That was a huge perk of this spot! That said, I was really surprised that the description does not clearly tell you how dangerous and steep the stairs are to get up to the actual bedrooms for sleeping. In addition, the clawfoot bathtub is a real safety hazard to get in and out of and it’s a terrible showering experience because the curtains are way too close to the tub. I would say if you have anybody with any accessibility concerns, or who just isn’t young and spry, it would be a real challenge to stay here. We were three young healthy people, and we were super nervous about getting in the shower and climbing up the stairs, just wish that had been explained.

It was a lovely cottage beautifully decorated. The beds were very comfortable and the place was spotless. We wish one of the smaller cottages was available as the house accommodated 5 people and there were only two of us staying for one night. It was in a great location for shopping in the area. The town was very quaint and the local people were welcoming.
