The saying don’t judge a book by its cover. Is the perfect metaphorical phrase for this listings. When you view this listing it gives you private bungalows in paradise, but it’s far from that. No hammock The jacuzzi is not working and covered with a pool of mosquitoes breeding rain water ( so your going get bite up like a buffet) The grounds are in need of a Gardner from all the over grown vines and shrubs The tv needs a remote that didn’t have batteries ( and when you buy batteries, it still doesn’t work) You need adapters to plug your electronics up and they only have one and that’s being used by the tv The door ways aren’t flush to the ground cause insects from large worms to roaches to other insects and ants every where on the floors. Matthew the host didn’t get us another adapter for our room. The lady who prepares breakfast is a great cook from the saltfish to the spice tea she prepares, but the second day all she had was sausage , roll. Tea. Not everyone eats Pork

The view was gorgeous! Looking out at Spice Bay was breathtaking and sitting by the pool was really relaxing. Breakfast in the morning was nice since no restaurants were nearby and experiencing a local home cooking meal to start the day was a plus. Additionally, the host was very gracious to change our villa to one with less stairs since my husband was nursing a bad knee. A small complaint is that you will hear loud motor vehicles noise coming from the highway all night long. They seemed to really drive fast on that road. The neighbor’s dogs barked all night too. Other than that, the place was nice and really close to the Airport so it was really convenient for our last day stay.

Do not recommend. The photos of the suites and surrounding grounds are misleading. The bay view is beautiful, as described, but the suite itself is very small and outdated, with old, worn-in furniture and appliances. Some of the furniture was badly stained. Same case with the balcony overlooking the bay. Deck and outdoor furniture was very run-down and weathered. Just overall not as described or photographed. One positive: check-in was easy and the host was a pleasure to deal with in person.

Spacious, friendly, beautiful, feels like a home away from home look out for Cathy making amazing breakfasts and available for dinner really great food ❤️

We enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast was great and the room was perfect for our stay as well. I would recommend staying here if you'd like a more local feel. There are many activities to do around the area such as visit LaTille Falls and Honeymoon beach
