Nice place with a somewhat weird vibe. 7 blocks from the main square where most of hotels, higher calibre restaurants, and tour offices are. You can walk there or a cab will run you about 3 Soles. I didn't feel in danger around there at night, but I'd advise you not to look too flashy if you're obviously foreign. The apartment is a nice two room suite. The air conditioning unit and two fans kept the place a comfortable temperature even in the middle of the day. The AC drips condensation and forms a puddle in the hallway outside that you need to take to get to the washing machine. There's a nice big modern washer and dryer, but to get there you have to go down the stairs from your place to the lobby, then walk the narrow hallway with the puddle past the other units in the complex, then go up a spiral staircase two stories to get to the dark backroom with the washer and dryer, and then probably plug them in as well as they're kept unplugged. The time estimates the washer and drier gave me weren't very accurate and I had to make this trek many times to check up on my laundry. But they worked well and were never full when I needed them. Place was clean when I got there, but everything felt a bit soapy like they used a soap solution and didn't rinse. I stayed about a week and a half and after about a week they came in and did a cleaning while I was gone. I like fresh sheets, but I would have appreciated being asked if I was okay with someone coming into the unit. Nothing was taken, but I was freaked out for a bit before I could confirm that. Good kitchen with a gas stove with I think just one burner that works, a kettle, a good pan and pot and enough utensils and plates for about two people. No ventilator for the stove and gas particles are really bad for you, but that seems to be the norm in this part of the world. Street noise wasn't too bad. Wifi was intermittent. I couldn't get any use out of it at all with my laptop and the signal would go in and out on my tablet and phone. Best internet in town I found was at Ari's Burger, which didn't have that problem at all. Host communication was good.

El espacio que me tocó es más amplio y bonito que en las fotos. Se tiene bastante independencia del uso del espacio. Se presta como para estadías de largo aliento. La comunicación fue bastante fluida y siempre hubo alguien atendiendo cualquier inconveniente. La zona está algo cerca al mismo centro de Iquitos y tiene restaurantes y bodegas a la redonda. El único inconveniente que le encuentro es en cuanto al Internet, pero ese es un problema en toda la ciudad de Iquitos, así que es preferible siempre contar con datos en tu celular. Lo recomiendo y volvería a tomarlo.

Basic but private space to sleep, shower, and cook if you want to. Be sure to bring your own salt, oil, or other basics for cooking. I boiled some eggs but realized I didn’t have salt so I just ate them plain. The last place I stayed with a kitchen, they provided salt and pepper. Soap in the bathroom but no shampoo. The one provided towel was fine but had glitter in it, so I ended up sparkling like the vampires in those mediocre vampire movies. The fridge and freezer worked great and I used them. There’s a small corner store a few blocks toward the plaza de armas that sells some food basics. I used the washing machine on the third floor. It worked great, but slowly since the machine took a LONG time to fill with water - at least 30 minutes each fill. My load still wasn’t done nearly 3 hours later. The clothes got very clean, and plenty of line to hang the clothes to dry. Air conditioning was just fine. Internet was pretty good overall - inconsistent but still better than many places I’ve tried. All in all. not a bad place to stay - it worked out just fine for me.

Muy buena comunicacion, wi fi bueno pese a que la señal en iquitos es muy mala. Cerca a la plaza de armas. Sala acogedora y bonita. Recomendada.
