The Apartment exceeded our high expectations. Warm, comfortable, spotlessly clean, well located - matched the description. Also provided loads of little extras, olive oil, tea, balsamic, welcome provisions, endless soaps/gels etc. Very thoughtful. Ute was a truly brilliant host. She was very responsive, kindly, and helpful. She gave us so much invaluable information on walking trails, shopping, getting about etc which saved us a lot of time and wasted energy. Cannot thank her enough for this. As to Cortina d’Ampezzo itself, it was a revelation to us. Absolutely stunning - we just had big smiles on our faces for our stay. Walked every day in cold but glorious weather amongst the majestic scenery. Two comments. April is very quiet, between seasons, which suited us perfectly, but not good if you want all the shops and restaurants to be open. Secondly, hiking is limited as the snow line is still low, limiting/ preventing the higher paths. Thank you Ute, fantastic, and we will return.

Beautiful well appointed apartment where the hosts had thought of every amenity that you might need. Ample space, comfortable and located only a 5 minute drive from ski lifts and beautiful Cortina town centre. You are surrounded by the rugged dolomites all around you, breathtaking from the base to the summits. Hosts were really helpful with local knowledge, restaurant suggestions and where best to ski in different conditions.

Masito is definitely one of the best places we've stayed at. It's spacious, bright and extremely well equipped. There's an attention to details that stands out. Ute has thought about what we might need and provided it, like toiletries, a bathrobe, slippers or kitchen essentials. The apartment really feels like home. In addition, Ute was always responsive and helpful. The only thing to bear in mind is that it's a bit off center. You can walk to Cortina in half an hour and there's a bus outside, but it takes a long time to reach the ski lifts and you have to change. However it's a 7 minute ride by car and there's ample parking by the cable cars. As a result, the surroundings are very quiet, so between that and the super apartment, it's really pleasant to stay at Masito's.
