We had such a great stay. Location can’t be beat and we loved riding the bikes to all the nearby beaches on the bike trail. Would 100 percent stay here again.

My friend and I had a wonderful quiet stay and felt welcome. The location cannot be topped for a North Shore stay and we were so grateful to have direct access to the beach. It’s a very special place.

Location location location! You can’t get a better view on the north shore than the front yard of this place. Upstairs renters could not have been more kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

This is the quintessential 'funky little beach shack' in the best possible sense. The location is ideal for surfing/watching & sunsets on the beach. The bed was comfy & clean. The bikes & beach amenities were super helpful. The kitchen had all the basics (including a drip coffee maker & French press), microwave, full oven/stove, dishes & spices/staple items stocked (in fridge/pantry) etc for a making simple meals for 2-3 ppl. Sharing the property with the other occupants was no problem (they were nice but not intrusive). Everything was as described/shown. Our host sent explicit instructions & information in a mostly timely manner. The internet was out for most of our stay but the host was responsive in trying to work it out (but it might have been annoying if the weather was uncooperative). Who needs TV when you're in paradise!

We've been to North Shore several times over the past decade, always with VRBO or AirBnb. This time we wanted to try "on the beach." This particular space is in a renovated basement, which is fine, but it overlooks the parking space (hard to squeeze into and out of), the long term tenants living area and access to the beach thru their yard makes this PRIVATE BEACH FRONT COTTAGE not so private and not so beach-front, and the rules of "quiet" made everything awkard. Awkward to pass by the tenants staring at you, awkward to get to the beach, awkward parking. Yes, the owners did tell us that they had tenants and that you had to be very quiet after 9pm and that you had to share their yard ... but they described it very ... elegantly. The pictures ... not quite right. We thought long term tenants were upstairs and we were downstairs. Both with a view. Our bad, but again, the posted pictures not truly indicative of a PRIVATE BEACH FRONT ACCESS. Get pictures. Know before you go.
