I really loved my stay at Sexto Sentido. The view from the balcony was beautiful. It was extremely quiet and peaceful. Alisonn was sooo kind and she helped arrange tours for me. The house was less than 10 minutes walk from an absolutely beautiful river. It was about 20 minutes walk into town or $1.20 moto taxi. I highly recommend it.

Alisonn and Oliver's hostel Sexto Sentido is a really beautiful oasis tucked away off a backroad in Palomino. It's very quiet and you're immersed in nature. There are a few other casitas on the property. The apartment is gorgeous, the patio is a completely un spoiled view of the jungle and you can watch the sunrise and sunset every day and watch an incredible array of birds and listen to the howler monkeys in the distance. At night you will be visited by tree frogs that's for sure! Make sure to have Alisonn's bread as it is probably the best in all of Colombia seriously. I worked here for 2 weeks and just be aware that in Palomino the power will go out sporadically, so if you need 100% reliable connection all day and night that might make it a bit tricky. Alisonn and her family are delightful and even invited me to their sons birthday party and shared their delicious baked goods and had a band over. Great times!!

What an amazing apartment and location. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone who loves to find peace and enjoys nature at it’s finest. Waking up with the sound of the birds is wonderful. Thank you Alisonn for the good care and delicious breakfast. We would love to return when we’ll visit Colombia again!

I extended my stay in this wonderful place and it was the best decision! They always have a wonderful energy full of nature and a delicious smell of bread, they take comments into account to improve and they are great people, thanks for everything I hope to see you again soon 🌿

This place is super beautiful, it has all the things a person or maybe a small family needs. The Terrace is wonderful you can lie in the hammock and watch the stars and the mountains. The house is 30 or 40 minutes walking to the beach depending on your pace, it is something you should keep in mind, if you like to walk there is no problem!!! or you can pay for a motorcycle to the beach. The shops are about a 15 minute walk away and the river is about the same distance.It is a space full of love and tranquility, you feel a lot of peace, the sounds of nature are incredible, this place has something unique and it is that it is far from the town where they usually make a lot of noise and here you can sleep and rest peacefully without loud noises . The only thing they need to improve is cleanliness🙏🌿❤️ Este lugar es súper hermoso, tiene todas las cosas que una persona o quizás una familia pequeña necesita. La Terraza es maravillosa, puedes acostarte en la hamaca y mirar las estrellas y las montañas. La casa está a 30 o 40 minutos caminando hasta la playa dependiendo de tu ritmo, es algo que debes tener en cuenta; sí, te gusta caminar no hay problema!!! pero sino puedes pagar una moto hasta la playa. Las tiendas están a unos 15 minutos a pie y el río está a la misma distancia. Es un espacio lleno de amor y tranquilidad, se siente mucha paz, los sonidos de la naturaleza son increíble, este lugar tiene algo único y es que esta lejos del pueblo donde suelen hacer muchos ruidos y aquí tu puede dormir y descansar tranquilamente sin ruidos fuertes. Lo único que deben mejorar es la limpieza 🙏✨
