A charming backyard pied-à-terre, lovingly maintained, with superbly communicative, attentive, friendly hosts--who could ask for anything more?! Ah yes, lemon trees! In the driveway and visible through the bathroom window, along with lush and glamorous flora of SoCal. A slice of heaven, in a word. The location, it should also be noted, is quite excellent, within walking distance of fabulous Culver City, and close to other beautiful neighborhoods of West L.A. Not too far from the beach in Venice or Santa Monica, either. One relatively minor beef: if visiting in the winter (we hit L.A. at its coldest), the only heat is from a propane heater, fully inside. As we did not want to use this, we used the one small electric space heater, which wasn't enough. Adding a second, there's now good heat for L.A.'s coldest days. But hopefully you'll visit during a more conventional weather scenario, and be able to use the beautiful yard, picnic table, and deck, a huge added bonus of this hidden gem of L.A.!

the house is great!!! super clean, quiet, beautiful, very comfortable bed support the lower back. my wife like all mirrors so she can use it conveniently. the only thing keep in mind is that the hot water capacity is small, only allow one person for a quick shower.

Chloe & Charlie were great hosts! They were communicative and attentive - checking in on us to see if we needed anything. The location is great - it’s located near downtown Culver City and in a quiet neighborhood! Also, super convenient to drive to some tourist spots in LA! I’d definitely stay here again if I’m visiting again.

I so appreciated Chloe and Charlie's guest house - it had everything I was looking for: so clean, comfortable, private, peaceful - and situated in a beautiful backyard in a super convenient and pretty neighborhood, to boot! I was so comfortable staying there for the week and hope to stay there again soon!
