This is such a sweet bnb! We stayed in the Catalpa Room, which was spacious and lovely. This room has a private bathroom right outside the bedroom, but this was not an issue for us. Cathy, our host, provides a portable screen you can put up so no one can see you exit or enter the bathroom from your bedroom. The whole places gets 10 stars for cleanliness and attention to detail. Breakfast was also very nice. We enjoyed eating out on the porch and Cathy was able to accommodate my husband's food preferences. She even went out of her way to fill up my hot water bottle every morning! While the bnb is not directly on the lake, you could actually see a bit of it from our room in the distance and it is very convenient located near the wineries, etc.

We had a wonderful stay here. The room and bathroom were clean. Breakfast was great. And Cathy was a great host. COVID did change some things a bit, but overall was a great short stay.

1922 Starkey House is located perfectly along Seneca Lake’s Wine Trail. Catherine is a very hospitable host and very accommodating to our requests. A delicious homemade breakfast on the large historic front porch overlooking the lake was the perfect touch. We look forward to returning next year!

Cathy is a wonderful host! Food was great! Try the fruit and cheese plate! Close to wineries. Very clean.
