We loved our stay with Christine, accomodation with direct access to beach, there we cayaks for us available for us to explore. Suzette local housekeeper, made for us amazing welcome dinner and guided us all the time. We were with her to ATM, grocerie store and also we have made several interesting trips. As my familly we have 3 little kids, main aspect was also safety. There was no issue at all, all Jamaicans were wery nice to us and if you have a respect for them and will not be spoiled kid kind of tourist. With Suzette by our side, we did managed everythink fast and safe even if we were only Europeans in several miles. We managed on our trip Blue luminescent lagoon, waterfalls in mountains, true Jamaican party night, fishing trip, several local beaches, Ricks cafee, Blue hole.... many adventures around. If you want to experience a true Jamaican spirit and experience, this is a place for you.

Seaside Gem is just that. A relaxing little oasis tucked away in quiet Lance’s Bay. If you are looking for a true Jamaican experience, away from the big resorts and other tourists, this is for you. There is a decent sized reef right out from the property that you can snorkel or take the paddle board out to and snorkel. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning at night was very nice. The roosters do wake up early, so bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper! Suzette was wonderful, kind, and always eager to help. Definitely have her make you some jerk and/or curry chicken! Bingy and Christine were gracious hosts with another majestic property up in the mountains, see it if you have a chance. If you have never driven in Jamaica, do yourself a favor and take advantage of Bingy's transportation services - trust me. I would recommend Seaside to anyone who has a sense of adventure and is looking for a peaceful retreat on the ocean (not a manicured 5 star resort).

This is our second stay and the renovations done since last Jan are impressive! The bathroom is a nice upgrade. We will be back again! The safe location, privacy, gorgeous view, the walk to Bulls Bay beach, and fantastic patio are some of our favorite things about Seaside Gem. Highly recommend having Suzette cook dinner, she’s great! We had goat curry once, jerk chicken, then fried chicken for Sunday dinner. The food was plentiful and delicious. And she’s a huge help with anything you need. Having Suzette accompany me on trips to Lucea was essential. Christine is quickly responsive to any question and so helpful and kind. One day we went up to the waterfall and to enjoy the hilltop scenery which was a lovely afternoon. Bingy is available for transportation to and from the airport and if you want to go to Negril or other trips. I’d love to bring some of my kids another time, and have more of Suzette’s cooking. The weather was perfect every day, an amazing winter get away. We love it!

What a great spot to enjoy a couple of nights with family! We arrived to a wonderfully cooked meal from Suzette! This is a must. And this can be arranged with Christine who is a great host and communicator! Suzette cooked for us again on the holiday and brought it over. We never had to leave! The place was comfortable for 4 people and the air conditioning was welcoming. Unfortunately we experienced a power outage for a full 24 hours but this was out of their control. We highly recommend this place if you want a neighborhood feel with nice amenities and enjoy hearing the waves outside your screened windows.
