We (a family of four with two kids) tremendously enjoyed our stay of three weeks in Bergen. Ankie and Leonard are great, attentive hosts and made us feel at home from the very first moment. The house is just beautiful. The basement is essentially one large living /dining / kitchen with big windows into a wonderful garden. With two rooms on the first floor (including a great Moroccan-style bathroom) and a huge loft-like room in the second floor (including a second bath room) there is plenty of space for even six persons. Ankie and Leonard were very helpful with recommendations about what to do & see in Bergen and the surrounding area. We really fell in love with Bergen, whose old-town-city-center is just a five minute walk away. The beach of Bergen aan Zee is about a ten minutes drive (or twenty minutes bike ride), with great beaches and restaurants with ocean-view. We truly recommend this house!

This house in Bergen, North Holland is phenomenal! We stayed stayed there for a month and would go back in a heartbeat. It was conveniently located, spacious, clean with the added amenity of a beautiful garden. The hosts were hospitable and ready to help whenever. Our departure was very difficult; we hope to be back.

We stayed for two weeks with a family of four and enjoyed the beautiful and spacious house and garden very much. You find everything you need and more. Our son liked playing the piano very much. The kitchen is very well equipped. The house is in a very quiet neighborhood very close to the city center of Bergen. You can walk or take the bicycle to anywhere. Excellent restaurants are close by. Leonard and Ankie are always most helpful. Thank you very much!

we had a great week in Ankie's & Leonard's home in Bergen. The house is very spacious - even for two families ( we were 4 parents with 3 kids 3-7y.). the kitchen and the bathrooms are perfectly equipped, bedrooms are cozy and the living room is just fantastic with a great look into the lovely arranged garden full of flowers, fresh herbs and all kind of fruits. You'll appreciate the perfect symbiosis of smart home solutions, the sustainable construction of the house and the great personality of the owners reflected in every corner of the house in terms of thoughtful & usable design. from the house you can walk easily to the lovely town center and have everything nearby. due to the weather conditions we stayed a couple of days at different beaches and had wonderful evenings (not only because of tired-played kids). we really enjoyed our stay especially after a long time of no vacation and hope we'll return sooner or later. many thanks for this marvellous week!

Wir haben 2 wundervolle Wochen im Haus von Ankie & Leonard verbracht. Das Haus liegt nah am Zentrum von Bergen, sodass man zu Fuss den Supermarkt und die Restaurants erreichen kann. Auch zum Strand kann man gut mit dem Fahrrad durch eine wunderschöne Dünenlandschaft fahren. Wir haben das Haus und den Garten wirklich sehr genossen. Selbst bei schlechtem Wetter kann man den Tag auch mal im Haus verbringen ohne sich eingeengt zu fühlen. Es ist alles da was man braucht. Das Haus ist hell, grosszügig und man spürt am Raumklima, dass bei der Bauweise auf natürliche Materialien Wert gelegt wurde. Auf der Terrasse kann man wunderbar Zeit verbringen und am grossen Tisch essen, in den gemütlichen Sofas liegen und lesen oder einfach nur den herrlichen Garten anschauen. Ankie & Leonard waren sehr freundlich, sympathisch und hilfsbereit! Wir werden gerne wiederkommen!
