A spacious clean apartment, well stocked kitchen, and a good location close to Gatineau park and downtown Ottawa make this a great place to stay. The only downside I would say is that the walls are thin and you can hear the neighbours sometimes but such is apartment life.

Andrea was a wonderful host! She responded quickly and had everything ready for checkin. Internet, Netflix and everything else worked great! The place has a nice large layout. Kitchen was well equipped. Bathroom too with plenty of towels and toiletries in case you forgot to pack something. Pantry and fridge had condiments and salt/pepper/spices/oil and more. Very handy for a long stay. Nice touches here and there in the apartment, which made it a very comfy feel. Beautiful plants in every room. Safe and quiet neighborhood. Beds and sheets very comfortable. Desk and office chair too!

Tariq and Andrea are perfect hosts: the apartment is as it looks on the pictures, it is well equipped and prepared upon your arrival, plus they are always available and keen to help.

The location is really amazing. Everything is within walking distance: supermarket, cafes, wonderful breakfast place, plenty of food option; all within a short walk. My communication with the host was good too. I liked the design of the apartment, it looks very bright, friendly, and comfortable. However, the apartment was extremely hot. There was no air conditioning, you couldn’t open bedroom windows properly and to the full, and the net had a hole. So mosquitos could easily enter. Every morning around 4:30, I was woken up by upstairs neighbour, who I guess was getting ready for work, so walking up and down the apartment and slamming the door. The kettle was not working, and since I am a very much tea enthusiast, a working kettle would have been very important for me. I informed the host about it, and she brought a new one the week after, because she was travelling. If you are planning to cook, please bring your cooking oil and spices as there were none except salt & pepper. The apartment also needs pest control as there were insects in the kitchen and roach in the shower curtain.
