We had a great stay at the Church for the long weekend as home base for exploring Wilson’s Prom. Wendy was responsive and extremely generous with the firewood for the indoor fireplace, which made for a very cozy weekend. Highly recommend!

Our stay in the church was lovely. Such a unique place to stay and full of history. We really enjoyed the wood fire and the claw foot bath. The view of the hills from the bathroom was gorgeous! Thank you Wendy for a great stay!

I visited the former Darnum Musical Village in 2012 and was captivated by the unique Cottages and Church...the BEAUTIFUL views.... and the 'FEEL' of The Village. When it came up for sale I knew that I wanted to bring the Village back to life..and in fact re-invent it...give it a NEW life where others could also share and enjoy the feel of this beautiful place. My husband and I have put a lot of love and hard work into restoring and beautifying the site.. I had a vision for each Cottage and The Church...and I have poured my heart and soul into each one. Many many trees, hedging plants and flower beds have been added to make each space private. Each has a special theme... The London Cottage.... I have a son living there. The Paris Cottage...A favourite romantic city of mine. The Loft House... I love Retro furniture. The Miners Cottage...Has an Australian feel. The Church....Beautiful and calming. I hope you enjoy the space as much as I have loved creating it.. I love being a Host ...and it makes me so happy when my guests also love and enjoy their time here. When my husband and I are not here at Darnum we are enjoying time at our home in Mt Eliza.... we also like to travel and holiday together whenever possible. Xx
