This house (and view) does not disappoint. Beautiful home comfortably accommodated our large extended family and we wish we could have stayed even longer. The kitchen was spectacular and able to handle any large meal you would want to prepare! The house was very clean and all bedrooms/bathrooms were fantastic! The laundry room was very convenient to quickly dry off bathing suits and towels and also to clean some clothing before heading back home. We will be back someday for sure!

The house, the beach, the VIEW! Waking up to watch the sunrise over the ocean from your private bedroom balcony, is there a better way to start your day? The House : The house itself is amazing and the photos are great but once you step through the door you are transported to full relaxation mode by the sound of the waves crashing right outside your door. There are a lot of stairs which can be tough for those with mobility issues but the different levels provide a sense of privacy between bedroom spaces. This was great as it gave our extended family extra privacy while still enjoying the company of being under one roof. The main living area is great with plenty of space for everyone to gather comfortably. (We had 20 people at one time and had more than enough space) There were also plenty of towels (enough to shower and for the beach) and all necessities were stocked in the kitchen. Outside: The big wrapped porch was a great place to sip coffee or a cocktail while watching the tide go in and out. The lawn is actually quite larger than it appears in photos, great spot for an outdoor lobster bake. From the lawn it’s only a few steps to the private beach. The water comes up pretty far during high tide but still plenty of space to relax in the sand. The area: Quintessential Maine. There are cute little shops, cafes, restaurants in downtown Wells or a short walk down the beach to Ogunquit. The host: I have nothing but positive things to say about Andrew. He was very prompt to respond and very transparent from booking to getting to the home. He was available for questions at any time before and during our stay which was incredibly helpful. My family and I stayed at the home at the end of September and while it was on the cooler side it was very enjoyable. There were people enjoying the beach but it was never crowded. We even met the neighbors who were incredibly kind and offered to help if we needed anything. All in all, 10/10 and we absolutely intend to plan another visit!

The view! The view, the view, the view. The view sells this place! Waking up with the ocean basically lapping at your door is a most excellent experience. We held our family reunion here, and were so pleased with the quantity of bedrooms, and bathrooms, and space in general. The lower level playroom for kids is an extra bonus, as is the amazing kitchen with room for people to be cooking and socializing all at once. We couldn’t have been more pleased, and would love to come back again.
