Greetings, my name is Alin Retezatu and here is some information about my life. I was originally born in Romania and lived there until my late teenage years. I came to the states in 1991 and lived in the southern part of California for most of my life. I moved to North Carolina around 5 years ago with my two sons who are 19 and 15 years old now. The reason I moved out here was to help my mother get through the cancer she had, and I also helped run her business at that point in time. Through all the great memories me and my mother had together it had all came to an end when her sickness(cancer) took her life 3 years ago on May 7th. The most valuable thing my mother had ever taught me was family was the key to success. Today Black Jacks Pub & Grill is a family owned business as well as Pub Loft. Pub Loft is an insight of my mother’s work. The countertops/pool table is a reminder of the dance floor and bar that used to be there. It is a memory of club 21 that was originally there in the past. I myself took the design and layout of how Pub Loft would look. Black Jacks pay it forward tab is the pride for our selves and is meant for if oneself cannot afford to pay for a meal in any sort of way then we have your back! When staying at Pub Loft we offer a free meal for our guest. Some of my personal hobbies I like to do are to collect classic cars, spend time with my family, and showing/breeding English Bulldogs which I have been doing for 25 plus years. I love meeting new people and help them in any shape/form I can. If anyone has any questions at all feel free to ask me at any time.
