Muggles End is a charming cottage made even more special by the finishing touches and generosity of the host's hospitaility. We were very sad to leave after a brilliant week. The cottage is a lovely traditional Cornish granite building that has been extended in a beautiful private garden (we stayed in October but I imagine the garden would be stunning in the summer). George was a fabulous host with great communication - the welcome pack included pumpkin for the kids, sweets (for the kids!!) fresh scones and cream and well as fresh flowers in the house - we could not have hoped for a better welcome.
Muffled end is an absolutely beautiful cottage equipped with everything you need to have a great stay in Cornwall. We had a lot of rain during our stay which made it even cosier with the fire burning and the fairy lights in the living room. We took our 2 month old baby for her first holiday and it was perfect for a family trip. The garden is also lovely and would be brilliant for nights outside in the summer. The town is small and quiet with a pretty cafe and an amazing home ware shop & a nice pub. George and Lucie are great hosts, they couldn’t be more helpful and really went over and above to make our stay perfect. They left such a nice welcome pack and were easily contactable throughout our stay, and even let us check out a bit later which made it easier to pack up everything that was needed for the baby! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend :)
Lovely cottage. Ideally placed for beaches and gardens. Welcome pack of scones with jam and clotted cream a nice touch. Wine and Cornish shortbread also appreciated. Cottage very clean, well equipped and spacious. All ingredients for an enjoyable holiday.
What a beautiful little cottage! We stayed here after a week in busy St. Ives and it was just what we needed. The beautiful garden and charming cottage was incredibly relaxing and very quiet and private. Very well located near the SW Coast Path and beautiful beaches. There were lots of extras for our girls that were much appreciated including water guns, lawn games and board games. The bedrooms were great for kids and even equipped with a sketch book and Peter Rabbit books. Very sweet. The only thing I would mention is if you’re over 6 feet tall you’ll be ducking downstairs as there’s a low ceiling consistent with a period home.
Lovely cottage. Immaculately presented with everything you could need. Excellent location, in walking distance to a local pub and a short drive to Falmouth, beaches etc. Excellent communication from the host.

Covid-19 Cleaning regime at Muggles End We would like to assure all guests that before arrival we will clean and sanitise all areas of the cottage specifically door handles, tabletops, light switches etc. with recommended cleaning products which will include a measure of bleach (as recommended by CDC) in all products used. Bedding will also be laundered and sterilised providing fresh and safe cleaned linen provided by Johnsons Dry Cleaners. In conjunction with this and to ensure all areas are completely safe we have invested in new fogging equipment to sanitise our Cottage after each guest departs and before the arrival of new guests. Muggles End will be sanitised using a misting/fogging technique developed for hospital operating theatres and deep cleaning. The atomised sanitation product kills 99.9% of all bacteria and viruses. This process atomises a super strength disinfectant solution into a fine mist and creates a complete cloud of disinfecting microscopic droplets. These droplets enter the atmosphere of the whole room being cleansed and help sanitise every aspect of the area, walls, ceilings, floors and surfaces. The disinfecting mist gets into every area, and parts that normal cleaning could never reach.
