Great spot if you need to stay downtown. Staff were very friendly and the lobby is gorgeous. There is a bar and areas to rest, socialize, and play card/board games. There’s a nice little omakase sushi place inside as well. I very much enjoyed our stay at the hotel and would stay here again. Staff checked in to make sure the room was to our expectations and that we had everything we needed. We were also able to upgrade to a room with a nicer view for only 20$. Once thing to keep in mind is this is a vintage hotel in down town Chicago . . . That means the space is a little tighter than one might be used to, but our stay was still very comfortable. One note for anyone booking. Make sure you unload your car prior to going to the valet parking structure next door, the parking valets do not allow anyone inside the parking structure. This is nice because your car remains secure, but can be frustrating if you forgot items in your car. The valet’s were kind and helpful.

Our original airbnb host cancelled on us so this was our second choice because it’s farther away from where we needed to be, but it was honestly perfect! The hotel is beautiful, room was clean, staff was friendly and helpful. The little cafe they had was very convenient. Also room service did an amazing job cleaning our room! There’s nothing I can complain about, it was a great stay.

Nice hotel in the heart of downtown, near lots of coffee shops and restaurants. Everything was clean and neat, but the place did have a somewhat odd smell. Friendly staff, nice lobby area and the room itself was spacious. No fridge so keep that in mind. Overall good for the price!

Claridge House Hotel was an incredible experience and was in a perfect location for our event we attended in Chicago. All staff from morning to late night evening were incredibly helpful in responding and answering questions. We would absolutely recommend this place for anyone needing a peaceful and clean place to stay. I plan to book at Claridge House Hotel in a few months due to enjoying our stay!
