The house and view are breathtaking. Such a peaceful environment. We were there during Christmas, and loved the cozy fireplace, while looking on the freezing lake. Sooooo well stocked. Honestly, no matter the season, all you need to bring for a week are food & clothes! Our hosts responded immediately to our questions. We will certainly plan to return next year! We highly recommend this Airbnb - you’re sure to have a great vacation…no matter the weather.

Heather's lake house is absolutely beautiful, immaculate and well stocked with everything you might need. It's exactly as shown in the photos. We were fortunate to spend two weeks in this peaceful and relaxing location. There are many pretty small towns within a short driving distance and Ottawa is only an hour away. We had a week of rain but even then we had a stress-free time just looking out at the water and enjoying the shows put on by the ducks/geese/loons. They looked like synchronized dancers at times. The carport was a lovely addition on those rainy days. This home has many cozy spots for reading and reflecting. We highly recommend it and look forward to a return visit. Thank you Heather for sharing this very special spot with us.

We couldn't have picked a better place to be end of summer than this beautiful home on Mississippi Lake. It was well equipped, super clean and wonderfully laid out for members of my family. The owner has thought of everything to make her guests comfortable. We cooked our own meals so as to spend maximum time enjoying the waterfront and spectacular sunsets. Everything we needed or wanted was available to make that easy. If you are looking for a relaxing, peaceful and worry-free getaway, I would highly recommend this outstanding rental opportunity. Our family had a fantastic time. Ken and Heathers place was exactly as pictured and described. The house and property is very clean and well kept. Everything needed for a stay is provided. We will for sure be back.

My second stay and will definitely return. Peaceful and relaxing. Beautiful home with an amazing view right on the water. It has everything you need and would highly recommend. Hosts always respond quickly and very helpful.
