We had great holiday beeing at Omer's place..since we like camping, expirience on this place gave us a feeling of freedom that camping provides, with upgraded basic amanites of house..having a market downstairs is a huge plus for remoted place when you are without car, as we were..Omer is a great friendly host, garden area gives opportunity to hang out with vibrant people coming to chill during daytime..Omer even organized evening barbique for guests and his family, which was so charming..in the garden area we met and immedietly get friendly with lovely couple camping there, making barbiques, playing backgammon together..they were taking us daily to healing Cold water nearby, which we highly recommend as a thing to do on hot days and evenings, besides going to variety of nearby beaches..wonderfull rock sea front on 10 minutes walkable distance through residental area, for morning swimming..overall, we had mesmerizing holiday beeing there for 12 days..

The place was an experience. This was my first time renting something like it. Very spacious and private space above a "road" shop. Somehow it felt like a decent apartment in a camping area in nature. Omer is a great host. Nearby (20 minutes walk) sand beach is one of the best in Turkey. AC, decent gas kitchen, lovely bedroom, two toilets/showers. Patio/balconies - excellent airflow if the door is left open. The shop is quite popular, but everyone was very respectful and was no music. Cons: Water pressure is down to none sometimes. Wi-Fi is problematic for work due to the 1MB upload speed. Forty minutes walk to the town/any other shop.

We had the best stay at Ömer’s place. It has recently been renovated so it is a lot bigger than the pictures showed! Everything was very new and clean. Ömer is a great host. Very helpful and kind. He has lots great recommendations of things to see in the area. His store under the accomodation has everything you need. Will definitely been staying again when back in Demre area.

Omers apartment lies directly above his small shop, where you can buy basics such as bread, some vegetables, milk, hygiene products and drinks. The apartment contains a nice conservatory with table and two chairs, a double bed, two couches, bathroom and a small kitchen with gas stove, sink, water heater and some basic equipment (some pots, a pan, forks and knives and spoons, no fancy stuff and no oven or microwave etc.) as well as oil and some spices. There was also a fridge, but inside it was mold so we did not use it. In the bathroom there was soap, but no shower gel or shampoo, and we got only one small and one big towel (being two persons). We could use the washing machine (outside of the apartment) and hang our clothes in the large garden next to the shop/apartment. Omer was a very nice and helpful host himself.
