I am resident in the Hartebeespoort Dam area (NW Province, South Africa). I love the outdoors, with favorite pastimes including running, boating, water-skiing and fly fishing. I have worked as an engineer and project manager in the Pulp & Paper and Mining Sectors (Coal, Platinum & Iron Ore) and am fortunate to have traveled extensively. The Airbnb concept of a “home-away-from-home” really appealing to me - with the flexibility and home conveniences this affords. On my 2nd Airbnb booking (H23 Thesen Island, Knysna), I so liked the property that I purchased as an going rental concern” to supplement personal holiday use - with eventual retirement in mind. I really enjoy sharing my “piece of paradise” and aim to create a unique experience for guests. I really appreciate honest feedback for ongoing improvement of facilities and services.
