Everything about Deborah's place was excellent! The house was spotless and the decor has a lovely modern eclectic aesthetic that I dream of having in my home someday. Though the house was decorated for the adults in our party, my 18 month old son was right at home. She had lots of amenities for him (we used the high chair and some of the toys and books!) The location is great! It's driving distance from the city and the Appalachian trail. There are lots of restaurants too! There's nearby hiking (bulls bridge, etc), lots of parks with playgrounds, and Squantz Pond and Candlewood Lake are very close. There's also a beautiful pond in the back yard. We got lots of photos of the resident turtles and ducks. She is a very detail-oriented host. We all had left before we got the email with the check-out instructions, but she had included them in the awesome binder. Deborah's place included many small touches that really made us feel like welcome guests in her home. We hope to come back again!

This was by far my favorite air b&b I’ve ever stayed at. It was beautiful, comfortable, and had everything. Debbie was friendly and responsive, the home was clean and spacious, and the location was gorgeous. Looking forward to a future visit !

This was our third visit to Debbie's beautiful home in Sherman, CT. Debbie is a wonderful host and goes out of her way to make sure every detail is covered to make your stay as pleasant as possible. You feel at home as soon as you enter. The furnishings are cozy and comfortable and the beds are delightful to sleep in. There are plenty of towels and soaps and shampoos, even his and her robes! Debbie always has her personal touch in the house as soon as you arrive including a lovely welcome basket filled with fabulous goodies. The home is situated on a beautiful country road surrounded by trees and nature. It is quiet and peaceful and very difficult to leave when your stay is up which is why we can't wait to return again soon.
