We loved Sonia and Hugh’s place and as hosts they were wonderful. We would highly recommend this property - it’s very well designed, light and has everything you would need. The garden is fully enclosed, so perfect for our dog (who was also very welcomed). The view is fantastic from all sides and the location very peaceful . We will certainly return again.

Had a brilliant stay at The Sett. Fully enclosed garden for the dog, plenty of room for parking, beautiful surroundings. Sonia sent clear directions how to get there as we were arriving late and in the dark. Any thing we needed Sonia responded back to which was super helpful. The space was beautifully decorated and well kitted out for all your needs. Great spot for country ventures out. It's worth noting dogs are not allowed upstairs, I missed this when booking as I hadn't scrolled down to the bottom of the house rules. Luckily this was not an issue for us as our dog is used to this, just something for others to look out for if booking. A really lovely stay and would recommend!

The property was spectacular, views where amazing. The host was very welcoming and responsive to any requests we had. We went during Christmas and the host welcomed us with a Christmas hamper which was lovely. Was in a great location for country walks & only 10 minute drive from Axbridge Would highly recommend anyone to stay here 10/10.

The Sett was absolutely lovely! The property was private, with stunning views from the downstairs living space, upstairs gallery and wrap around garden. The décor was in keeping with it's surroundings and was clean and modern. The house is spacious, warm, comfortable and cosy. The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return should we visit the area again.

The Sett was just a stunning place to stay. The rural location was beautiful with views over Cheddar and the Mendips. We loved the sound of the cows mooing and the birds singing in the morning. Only a few minutes drive from A38 but felt like we had arrived at a calm, cosy and restful escape with beautiful artwork throughout the home, with simple but quirky decor it feels instantly fun and relaxing. Great garden space too which we (and the dog)really enjoyed. Fab welcome pack too. We would love to return here, maybe for a longer break next time. Thank you so much Sonia x
