weather was bad but it didn't matter, great stay with family re-charging the batteries and enjoying family time in a great house with beautiful surroundings , highly recommended for those who enjoy the countryside with a spot of luxury, you couldn't want more .

Took my partners family away for the weekend and had an amazing time. Was good to reconnect. Sian was an incredible host! Really looked after us and was incredibly flexible with my booking, allowed me to come in earlier to decorate the place for my partners birthday! Hot tub was a dream with the weather! All in all an amazing place to stay. Private and peaceful. Well needed break :)

6 of us stayed at Sian's cottage in April 2023. The cottage is very spacious and very well kitted out, and is fairly remote (which is what we wanted!). The surrounding countryside was great, and the Leyland Arms pub is well worth the walk (45 minutes). The hot tub was also a great hit. Sian and her husband were also very friendly and greeted us. I would definitely recommend!

I really don’t think I can rate this place highly enough! Smooth booking process, great communication, friendly and accommodating at every step of the way. Definitely the warmest welcome we have received anywhere! The location is just idyllic, we arrived in the snow and all commented how it reminded us of the film; The Holiday. The house itself is fantastic - full charm and character, well equipped for everything you might need. Clean and tidy throughout and super cosy with the log burner and Rayburn. The hot tub being the icing on the cake. We loved it so much we could have stayed longer, and are already discussing the possibility of a repeat visit.
