Michael und Paola sind zwei sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeber, die auf Wünsche eingehen und uns absolut traumhafte Tage auf dem Boot boten!! Wir waren im Paradies, das Schnorcheln, Essen, BBQ am Strand etc - alles war perfekt! Gerne wieder :-)

Wowww what can we said ….A paradise !! Michael and Paola are amazing people , super hosts and now friends ! The food on the boat was delicious, they took us to the perfect places , the y were super flexible and always doing everything for us to have a great time . If you are looking for amaizing experience and relax this is the best choice ever!!!

Another Friday night. Another sun sets outside. Maybe you can see it, maybe not. It doesn’t matter, you’re stuck inside working again. We’ve all been stuck at work when we didn’t want to be. And who hasn’t allowed themselves the occasional fantasy of just quitting the job, selling the house or giving up the lease on the apartment and taking to the road. Or the sea. Well Micheal did just that. And thankfully for all of us who have ever dared to dream, he will share this magical world with you, if only for a very brief time. Micheal and Paola are incredibly welcoming, warm, gracious and fun. After years of living on the gorgeous waters of San Blas, they still seemed just as excited as we were with every experience. Also , they have an uncanny sense of when to leave you alone. Despite the small space, Paola and Micheal made us feel free and completely at ease. Each day was completely up to us. But to be honest, we usually went with Micheal’s suggestions and were never disappointed. There really is no other way to truly experience the incredible natural beauty of the San Blas Islands, Guna Yala, than by boat. Cruising out over the irresistible blue, watching reefs float by in the clear depths. Sailing out beyond the tourist boats buzzing around the day beach islands. Actually getting away from it all. Imagine starting each and every day with a dive into warm clear water, without another soul in sight. Meet the Guna people on their scattered island outposts. Paddle board, BBQ, snorkel with crabs, squid, sea stars, sea rays, stingrays, puffer fish, banner fish, barracuda and dolphins. Catch a clear night on the deck and the stars are jaw dropping. You can follow the Milky Way as it crosses the sky. With chill music usually playing somewhere in the background, Paola and Micheal prepared three delightful meals a day (excluding other included surprises) plus snacks and drinks pretty much all other times. We were never want of anything ever. We had an absolute blast. Micheal instantly replied to all of our questions leading up to the trip. He and Paola arranged the transportation from our Hotel in Panama City and back again, which I highly recommend. The road over the mountains from Panama City is long and ROUGH. This is not a Carnival Cruise. It is not a luxury hotel. It is a 46 foot monohull sailboat. But, if you’re up for adventure and looking for something really fun and different, get down to Panama and go stay on the Kailani with Michael and Paola.

The trip with Michael and Paola was a very special and unique experience - especially in a paradise like SAN BLAS. They are amazing hosts and take care of everything so well! They are very flexible and the whole trip depends on what you wanna do, see or experience. Exploring different islands and beaches, getting to know the Kuna people on a very personal way or just enjoying a rum and very delicious food in the middle of paradise with 2 wonderful hosts - it was an amazing experience and worth every penny. We would recommend this kind of trip to everybody who wants to enjoy paradise in a very unique way. One day in San Blas is just not enough... Thanks to Michael and Paola (whom we can call now friends) for amazing days in paradise - See you soon in Austria! ;-)

Michael and Paola were amazing hosts! They were great for helping with transportation to the sailboat and back. The trip through the islands was extremely unique and the captains Paola and Michael were very flexible depending on individual interests! There were lots of things to do like swimming at each island beach and out to the boat (or take the dingy), paddle boarding, snorkelling the reefs, exploring the islands, and fishing (and they cooked fish perfectly!!), and even just enjoying a beer and a good book! The food was amazing (my favourite was Paola’s Peruvian dish!!) and rum’bana bread was even better...rum time in the evenings was also great after a day out swimming/sailing and in the sun. We had local Kuna crafters and grocers stop by the boat and even a taste of the local Kuna lobster feast for Christmas Day!! Overall a great experience and would recommend to anyone travelling in this part of the world!!! - J & S
