My sister and I had a lovely short stay with Gustav. The house is beautiful and the room was very cozy and clean. We also enjoyed the Nordic-style breakfast. We were allowed to use their bikes for free and went to see the sunrise at the beach in the morning. Gustav was very hospitable and had a calm energy which made us feel at home. The location is really good and if you have a car it’s really easy to explore. We came by bus, but the walk from the bus stop was only 10 min. If you plan to arrive by public transportation be aware that the bus schedules on Google Maps are not necessarily correct. The trip from Bilbao to Ibarranguelua was 20 min faster than what Google Maps predicted. So when we left towards Lekeitio we went to the bus stop really early because we suspected the bus to arrive before the scheduled time. We were correct. But the busses are very cheap so we still think this is a nice and scenic option if you don’t have a car. Next time we hope to stay for a bit longer!

Prachtige airbnb. Nog mooier dan op foto. Ook super leuk dat er hier en daar wat ambachtelijke producten waren. De communicatie met Gustav was ook top. Hij is zeer toegankelijk. Hij is sociaal, doch respecteert hij je privacy. Je voelt je ook heel snel thuis en op je gemak. Ik heb eigenlijk geen enkel puntje van kritiek. Ik raad iedereen deze plek aan, ik overweeg zéker zelf om ooit nog eens terug te komen. Danku, Gustaph en Sofi!

Ladga Lodge nos encanta, ya hemos ido en dos ocasiones y volveremos tan pronto como podamos. La casa es increíble, la decoración muy cuidada y con mucho gusto y luego los anfitriones, Gustav y Sofi son un amor, nos hubiésemos quedado a vivir con ellos. 😊 La zona donde está te ofrece muchas posibilidades, playas muy buenas cerquita, surf, senderismo con vistas increíbles, se come de maravilla…… recomendable 100%.

We spent one night at Gustav's and Sofi's beautiful Laga Lodge. The garden is perfect to relax and enjoy the sun after a long hike. The house is full of lovely details and the interior is just wonderful. We felt very welcome and would like to come back, when we are in spain again.

A beautiful, modern lodge in a great location, surrounded by rich nature and very close to the idyllic Laga beach. Gustav and Sofi were lovely and very welcoming hosts. It’s an ideal place to unwind and enjoy the nature. We are definitely coming back!
