Come and enjoy RelaxInn ... a cozy 3 bedroom 1 bathroom cottage located on a 40 acre park like property with a unique pond feature. Our cottage is 15 km North of Gimli, only 1 hour drive from Winnipeg. Well located, it is near Spruce Sands Resort/ beach . The popular Arnes Farmers Market is 1 KM away. Silver Harbour boat launch/store and Marvelous Meadows Golf Course are also only 5 minutes away. Gimli town with all of its restaurants and attractions are less than 15 minutes drive. The comfy cottage has 3 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed, 2 end tables, a wardrobe and a ceiling fan. Bedroom 2 has a double bed, two end tables and a closet with shelving. Bedroom 3 has a twin bed with 2 mattresses. ( 1 mattress can be removed and placed on the floor for extra sleeping space if necessary). All linens, and extra blankets are provided. The kitchen is well equipped for all of your cooking needs. It has a breakfast counter and includes a microwave and both Keurig and drip coffee makers. There is also a magic bullet for your "mixed drink" needs. The water is potable well water run through a softener. Some bottled water is also provided. There is no dishwasher. Dish towels, cloths and dish soap are provided. The bathroom has a tub/shower, sink and toilet. Plenty of towels, a hairdryer and toilet paper are provided. The utility room houses the hot water tank, water softener and ample storage shelving. Beach blankets and foldable camping chairs are stored in this room. Off the kitchen is the most enjoyable area of the cottage. A screened in deck with a dining table for 6, and a sitting area for your "bug-free" enjoyment. Here you can check your emails as there is WIFI available in this space. Or you can choose to disconnect, read a book, listen to the birds, and watch the local wildlife. Just outside is a propane barbecue, a table and chairs, and fire pit with seating for your use. We provide the wiener roasting sticks and a very generous amount of firewood is also included. The cottage is located on a beautiful 40 acres shared with the owners who live in a separate home on the property. Although the entire property is surrounded by trees, there is plenty of room around the cottage for outdoor games and activities. We have cut some trails through the trees and fields of our property. You are invited to stroll around these trails that will bring you to a lovely pond situated 150 meters from the cabin. There you will find a sun shelter with a picnic table, random seating and sun loungers. You are welcome to have a picnic, or sit with a beverage and enjoy the view or maybe a sunset. Note that the pond area is used by my family and friends but we are willing to share that space with our guests. SWIMMIMG IN THE POND IS NOT ALLOWED FOR RELAXINN GUESTS AND IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL. If you like to swim, it is only 1.5 kms to Spruce Sands beach. We supply beach towels, a beach blanket and a few beach chairs are also available for your use. Also, the renowned Gimli Beach and all of its attractions are 15 kms away. We also have 4 bikes if you would like to take a ride. A biking/walking trail runs in front of the property south past the Arnes Farmers Market and continues all the way to Gimli and north past Hnausa. This property and cottage has been in our family for generations. We have made many memories here. We love it and we are sure you and your family will too. Come out and give RelaxInn a try.
