Booked this for my family, the house was very big with lots of rooms and well equipped with all the comforts you need! Communication with the hosts was also exceptional. They were friendly, flexible with check-in/ check out times, incredibly quick to respond to any situation or question that we had! Neighborhood felt very safe especially with the police station just down the road. As an extra security feature when the house is empty as the hosts are remote, there are active cameras on the outside of the house and also in the living rooms. If the indoor camera is any concern to anyone please contact the hosts before your visit.

Canje House was ideally located for exploring New Amsterdam. It was clean, modern, and had everything we needed to feel at home. Not to mention spacious, quiet, and just around the corner from my relatives' home (which was a pleasant surprise), being that the sole purpose of our visit to Guyana was for a family reunion. Check-in was quick and easy, and check out was flexible, which was a blessing by itself. Communication with Mark was like a walk in the park from the very beginning until the end of our stay. He was both pleasant and reachable at all times and everything concerning the do's and don't were very well explained. Canje House has the perfect layout for spending time with friends and family. Hence, I recommend Canje House to anyone wishing to visit New Amsterdam. We would definitely visit again 🤝

Mark was amazing! It was as if he was right there guiding us, he responded immediately and was very helpful. My family really enjoyed the vacation can’t wait to book his home again.
