Laura and Butch were extremely accommodating at the lake. They were very understanding when my family stopped by for a couple hours, which i truly appreciate, because it was last minute, but I hadnt seen them in years. The guest house was the perfect size for my best friend Tony and myself. There were many cute accents around the house. It was decorated with great taste and much thought. Everything was modern and convenient, making it very comfortable inside. The lake is breathtaking. You can see it from all sides. Sunset on Sunday was amazing, as well as the sunrise on Monday morning. I loved meeting Max-it's always nice to have a pup to pet when you're away from your own. The birds at the lake were exceptionally abundant. I lost count of the different species I saw. The pileated woodpecker was my favorite. And the wisteria was another favorite of mine. Thank you for an amazing weekend, and thank you for opening your home to us.
My boys and I decided to take a spontaneous trip to the lake for just a few days to enjoy the beautiful weather and honestly couldn’t have chosen a more perfect place. Everything was wonderful from the friendly hosts, beautiful sunsets, clean/comfy guest house with amazing views right from the couch, perfect outdoor fireplace, 2 story dock with comfy seating and bar area. My boys really enjoyed the tiki toss game! Can’t wait to go back!
This cottage is perfect. The beauty of the surrounding lake, the dock, the sense of peace AND the fabulous outdoor wood burning fireplace and fire table are the icing on an outstanding cake. Laura and Butch are excellent hosts and they respond almost before you know you need to ask them anything. Their dog, Max, is the most excellent of greeters. We will be back again. No need to look elsewhere If you desire a small, beautiful cottage with the best of hosts.
