We stayed in the ‘Juliet suite’ which was warm and cosy. Well heated with electric radiators. Kettle in the room with tea, coffee and milk which was great. Very comfortable double bed. We didn’t use the room with the 2 junior beds at all. The windows are single glazed, due to the age of the building. There was some traffic noise each morning but it didn’t really bother us . Very low door ways but that added to the quaintness of the suite. Breakfast was very nice, as was the lady who served us.

We couldn’t be happier and I really want to say a special thank you. It was exceptional- very friendly staff - perfect location - and spotlessly clean. Lovely old pub but none of that “old pub smell” at all as it’s been refurbished and the cleaning is immaculate - really a rare find.
