This Private room is nestled in the Sheep Mountain lodge. There is a priceless hand-made Queen bed and rustic log furniture. The lodge sits on 20 acres of riverfront pastureland. Outside, a fire pit, external bbq, wrap around deck, and almost a half mile of river are available for our guests to use. Inside, the two full bathrooms, the full kitchen, large dining room, roaring fireplace and timeless great room are all yours (unless you are meeting other guests by fireside). The focal point of this room is the truly priceless handcrafted bed. Made of ancient twisted juniper that the owner found on a hunting trip, it was then painstaking crafted by a Missoula artist. The rest of the room decor celebrates the rich fly fishing traditions of Montana . The room includes plenty of drawer space and a large closet.

Very nice location. Late check-in lead to an awkward miscommunication so make sure you verify check-in ahead of time. Otherwise this place was perfect and remote. Love the area.
Lion’s, tiger, and bear oh my! Rebekah’s place is an experience one must try! The decor and view’s are amazing! We were greeted by the two cats which live outside on the property and they were very friendly. There was a full kitchen and a few breakfast options provided in which we took full advantage. The shared dinning room and living room had breathtaking views and were very user friendly. The wood burning fireplace really added to the feel of a cabin stay.
The house was beautiful, clean, fun, private, and quite large! Rebekah was excellent at communication and went above and beyond for me. Would recommend 100%.

I booked one night Rebekah’s place planning to stay there on my way to glacier, but I loved it so much I ended up staying 3 nights and didn’t want to leave! The lodge is in a beautiful setting near the river and mountains, and the hunting lodge decor was fascinating! I loved sitting in the great room by the wall of windows. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook, and the fresh eggs, pancake mix, and sausages were a nice surprise. I didn’t meet Rebekah face to face but she was in touch with me throughout my stay and provided plenty of suggestions what to see and made sure I had everything I needed. I hope to come back again!

Sheep Mountain Lodge is situated directly in between Superior and St. Regis at I-90 exit 43 “Dry Creek”. It is a two minute drive from the interstate. The neighborhood is very quite pastureland. You will see more horses than neighbors. Nearby is a mountain treasure trove of alpine lakes, huckleberries, and wild animals.
This is a rural area and a personal vehicle is required to travel from town to town. Our driveway and frontage road are maintained year-round and suitable for a cars. For exploring the surrounding forests, we recommend a vehicle with good ground clearance and off-road capable tires.

Born and Raised in Missoula, Montana I have a natural love for the great outdoors. My husband and I built our first Airbnb in 2013- the Northern MT Yurt. As our family grew we listed it in 2018 and thus started my passion for hosting and a desire to share the area with guests. We are now the owners and operators of Homestead Management. Managing both long and short term rentals. I am always available via text my husband is always available to call. I work from home, I love coffee, cooking with huckleberries and morels, home schooling my 5 kiddos, everything outside and spending time with my beloved husband.
