This is a beautiful home with some obvious history. There was a book in the home with some of the history, including pictures of the moving of the house about 1/10th or so of a mile. What was perplexing to all of us was why the house was moved. From some guessing on our part, we assume it was due to the highway coming through and perhaps the ramps for the exit, but there was no clear evidence for this or clues in the book. It was fun to try to figure out. The additional games in the basement and out building made for some healthy activity too. In the summers, when the pool would be open, this place would be amazing. Grocery shopping is only a short distance away and, for those of the group that like walking, the road was surprisingly not busy. The deer and cranes (as in the bird) that came through made for fun observing times too.

We loved our family getaway at Chase’s beautiful home in South Haven!! This is the second time we’ve stayed here with our 4 kids, their spouses and 15 grandchildren. There’s two refrigerators and freezers, which was really helpful for the food we brought, also plenty of silverware and plates for all of us. The only thing that we wished would’ve been a little different was at times it was kind of cold in the kitchen because the wind was blowing and it was a snowstorm that weekend. We used a few space heaters when we needed them, so it was completely fine. Chase is really great at communication and helping us to get in before the storm completely hit! We had a wonderful time together, and there was lots of beds, bathrooms and blankets and pillows for everyone!! Would really recommend for a big family, plenty of seating, and the kids love the game room downstairs!!!
