My wife chose this spot as a grief retreat after I lost my father. Brooke was one of the best hosts I’ve ever had. So thorough and kind. This experience exceeded my expectations and was salve to my soul during this time. Thank you thank you thank you. We will be back!

This has been my most favorite Airbnb experience of my entire life. It is on a farm with no wifi so it was an amazing way to disconnect from the outside world and really practice being present. There are lots of board games and some dvds and also cable tv so still lots to do. This space was 10 minutes drive away from the hike of 10 falls and a 15 minute drive away from downtown Silverton. Brooke was soooo nice and hospitable. You can see the amount of care and thought she puts into her space. I will definitely be back!

Brooke’s place was the perfect getaway to unplug and visit Silver Falls State Park. The place was even better than the photos. The kitchen in particular is beautiful. I enjoyed seeing some of the farm animals through the windows. Very peaceful location among the trees and without WiFi or reception. Of course the hot tub is wonderful after a long day of hiking. Brooke provided lots of recommendations in advance and there are plenty in the house manual when you get there. Even if you forget to download a map, it’s super easy to get to the park and to Silverton by just taking their road in either direction.

This place was adorable and made for a perfect getaway to relax and disconnect from the noise of a busy life. We thoroughly enjoyed the woodstove and hot tub as the snow blanketed our surroundings. It was beautiful! Brooke was proactive in many ways and even brought extra kindling to our back door before we ever asked for it. What a treat it was to enjoy their little cottage for the weekend.
