Alan is the perfect host and the apartment is in an ideal location for Newcastle and access to all local amenities. The property has everything you need for either a short stay or a longer stay and we have returned to Alan’s on numerous occasions now
A comfortable flat, more spacious than expected. Although on a fairly main road, it was still was pretty quiet inside. Parking was always found right outside the flat. A lovely park opposite, and the Segedunum (end of Hadrian's wall fort site), about 10 mins walk away, and very interesting. The Metro is closeby, also buses, shops, takeaways, restaurants etc. A good find!
Quiet location with a local green outdoorspace down the road, yet only a 7 min walk to metro with a 15 min metro ride into Newcastle Town centre. superb amenities close by. the flat had everything you could need for a short term stay with useful things like a hairdryer , which I have found previous hosts have not provided. selection of teas coffee etc, with a local convenience shop 2 minute walk away. Would definitely stay again.
