Unfortunately we did not have a good experience. The apartment was clean but many items were very old and did not work (pots/ pans VERY worn, towels OLD, A/C didn’t work, internet not working, remotes NOT working, etc….). It appears that none of the money from this apartment is ever reinvested into this place for maintenance or upgrades. The area outside the apartment was okay however the neighbors inside the apartment complex were noisy and smoked a lot! The owner/ point of contact (Betsa), did not respond to our concerns/ struggles with certain items inside the apartment; she was inconsiderate and did not even TRY to correct any of the issues/ problems. Lastly, we were never informed that the apartment is on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator. We were excited to check in but after our experience we are very disappointed. Sad to say that we cannot recommend this place. Maybe with this feedback they can make some improvements so others can have a better experience.

Extremely responsive host and comfortable stay. No real cons other than the apartment being up a couple of flights of stairs, so I’d keep that in mind when getting your luggage together. Also to dry your clothes, you must hang them on a clothes line which was fine but the line couldn’t hold a large load. Other than that, the neighborhood felt safe and there are a ton of different restaurants nearby. The host responded within minutes to any questions I had which was great. Definitely recommend for a stay in Tlaquepaque.

el departamento es muy bonito, tal como se muestra en las fotos. Tiene un pequeño estudio muy cómodo para trabajar y está a unas cuadras del centro de tlaquepaque, la zona es tranquila. Betsa siempre estuvo atenta a cualquier cosa que necesitáramos para que nuestra estadía fuera muy cómoda. el único detalle que notamos es que se escucha mucho el ruido de los otros departamentos.

Beautiful location a few blocks from great food and entertainment. Place was safe and location was vibrant. We would recommend this Airbnb to others. Price was great. Host was responsive. Security always on site. A must stay place for anyone visiting Guadalajara. Loved it!! Perfect for us and will be staying here again soon.
