Our stay at The Glass House on the Strand in Manhattan Beach was perfect!! The location is fantastic. You can walk ten steps out the door onto the beautiful beach, there is a perfect outdoor seating area at the house to just sit and look at the view or people watch (our favorite!) and you are a 1/4 mile from lots of restaurants, shops and a local grocery. Or, you can hop on the bikes that are at the house to go down the Strand to Hermosa or Redondo to explore. The house itself is so unique and modern. It had everything we needed to be extremely comfortable and had the tools for any cooking we wanted to do. It also had a ton of toys - from surf and boogie boards to 5 bikes (no one ever thinks to accommodate a family of 5!), frisbees and volleyballs. Finally, I cannot say enough about JR and Susan as hosts. They are so incredibly friendly, easy to talk to, full of helpful hints on places to go and always super responsive. Thank you for everything! We can't wait to visit again!

This place is amazing! It was honestly the best Airbnb experience we've ever had. JR thought of everything. You won't regret booking this place - it's the perfect location, right on the beach, only a few minutes walk to the pier and shopping/restaurants/etc. The house was beautifully decorated, and the kitchen was stocked with cooking essentials. The outdoor living/dining spaces were perfect! The house has everything you could possibly need to enjoy your beach vacation. We traveled with our two little kids - and the place had everything we needed to make little ones happy (especially the amazing playroom in the loft area). You won't regret booking this place. JR is an amazing host, and was so kind and thoughtful throughout out stay. We hope to come back and visit again someday!
