Tenuta Capitolini is an enchanting stone and brick farmhouse set in nature, surrounded by olive trees and a privileged and suggestive panorama in Umbria. It stands at the foot of the medieval village of Collelungo (twelfth century) with a splendid view overlooking the middle Tiber valley. Precisely because of its central location, is an excellent starting point to continue with cultural excursions in the nearby cities of Perugia, Todi, Orvieto, Assisi, Spoleto, Gubbio. The apartment Terra of 70 m² is ideal for a couple or a family with children, and can accommodate from 2 to 4 people; it consists of a bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, on request it is possible to add another single bed, and has a large bathroom with shower. This house is suitable for disabled people. In the spacious living room, with fireplace, there is a fully equipped kitchen. The apartment Terra is surrounded by a porch with tables, chairs, rocking chair and has a small private garden in front of the entrance.

Monica is a wonderful host! So friendly and nice. Her place was perfect - one of the best airbnbs we’ve stayed at in Europe. Very well equipped with everything needed for our stay. Felt like home. The pool was amazing and very quiet and peaceful area. Lots of amenities on the property. A perfect place to relax in nature. Grocery stores only a short drive away. Would recommend and Can’t wait to go back!!!

The farmhouse is situated in the hamlet of Collelungo, a small town with a history dating back to the 13th century. In 1294 the city walls were build by the Monaldeschi family, which eventually ended up under the power of Paolo III. The region of Todi and Perugia are worthwhile visiting; from Perugia you can drive easily to Assisi. The Trasimeno lake is a refreshing day trip. Perugia is the capital of Umbria and one of the main cities of central Italy. Perugia is located on an elongated hill. At the top lies the medieval part of the city. The access gate Porta d'Augusto has been preserved from the Etruscan period. Other highlights are the Priori Palace, the Fontana Maggiore, the Oratorio di San Bernardino and, of course the Cathedral.

Hi, I'm Monica, the owner of Tenuta Capitolini. I am happy to share with you this corner of paradise that belonged to my beloved grandmother Arnalda. The farmhouse was first built by her grandfather Nicodemo Damiani in the year 1875. My grandmother always told me stories about her life in this little hidden place, made of sacrifices and hard work, not having any comfort or wellness.... a humble but special life. Her magic words were full love for nature, for simple and genuine things. I always felt the history of this land was calling me, talking about me and waiting for me. Every time the landscape enters your eyes and surprises you .. it always has something to tell you, you can breathe it, you feel the scents, the sounds and the heart beats strongly swollen with emotions, time stops and you explore yourself. An authentic poem, difficult to tell but beautiful to live. A feeling of peace that lifts your mood and comforts you with a sweet caress ... because here everything is love and passion for life. So it all started, the desire to do good and healthy things, our extra virgin olive oil and the desire to introduce you to this special place, with the help of my family, my husband Marco and our daughters Azzurra and Virginia. The estate is situated in Collelungo, a medieval village (XII century) between San Venanzo and Marsciano. It offers a view over the middle valley of the Tiber and is in a strategic position to visit the many historic cities of Umbria: Todi, Perugia, Orvieto, Assisi, Spoleto. In total we offer (just) three charming apartments. All of them are independent, spacious, comfortable, equipped with comfort and heating. They are carefully furnished. In each apartment you can cook in the fully equipped kitchen. The proximity of shops and local restaurants in the towns around the farmhouse will allow you to taste the typical products of the culinary tradition of Umbria. It is an ideal place for relaxing strolls along the paths near the grove, where you can admire the hidden beauties of nature.
